Savory Red Lentils

1 bag Trader Joe's Split Red Lentils
2 tbsp Trader Joe's triple filtered coconut oil
Half an onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, diced
Celtic sea salt
Black pepper
1-2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 bay leaf
1 handful diced fresh parsley
Pinch of: cayenne, paprika, cumin, marjoram, thyme
3 cups chicken broth (I used my homemade bone broth with carrots puréed in it)
Water
